LightMetrics is seeking a dynamic Product Manager to drivethe vision and development of our innovative video telematics solutions. Thisrole is ideal for experienced product professionals with 1-4 years ofexperience or experienced engineers looking to transition into productmanagement. You'll be responsible for translating market insights intoactionable product strategies, working cross-functionally with engineering,design, and marketing teams, and ensuring our offerings not only meet customerneeds but also set industry standards. Responsibilities:
1) Manage and shape the end-to-end edgeAI roadmap
- Define,prioritize, manage the roadmap for all edge AI capabilities including computervision models and embedded software integration
- DefineKPIs and business objectives for edge AI features (accuracy improvement, falsepositive rates, user adoption, reducing risk, latency, etc)
- Translatecomplex AI model related technical information and constraints into clear,market-facing features and customer benefits
2) In-vehicle UX ownership
- Singlepoint of contact for in-vehicle experience for the driver
- Definehow alerts are presented to maximize efficacy, minimize distractions
- Establishand manage the process to gather qualitative and quantitative user feedback foredge AI features
- Usethe data gathered above to drive prioritization and execution
3) Cross functional execution andalignment
- BridgeAI, embedded, backend and frontend teams
- Everyimprovement, every feature has a touch point with the dashboard or the app liaison effectively and ensure the feature is shipped in a timely and usefulmanner
- Tieup loose ends ensuring dashboard implementation, backend API readiness, privacycompliance and mobile/web application support to deliver a polished productexperience
4) Go-to-market and Deploymentreadiness
- DriveGTM strategy for edge AI related features, including testing, sales collateral,technical documentation, and customer facing documentation
- Provide product training and demos for internalteams and help external partners to foster product adoption and success
Minimum requirements for the role:
- For senior PM, minimum 3 yearsexperience as a product manager
- For PM, 1 year experience as aproduct manager is desirable
- Experience in embedded systems, AIor computer vision products, cameras highly desirable
- 2-5 years of experience as a developer the role involves a lot of work with engineers internally and with customersteams. So, in addition to customer interaction, communicating with engineersis a key part of the role
- Demonstrated ability to createrequirements documents, specifications
- Experience with market research,competition analysis and leveraging customer insights for creating andprioritizing roadmaps
- Proven track record of managingcomplete product life cycle ideation to development through to launch anditerative improvements
- Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills with experience collaborating across diverse teams(engineering, design, sales, etc.)
- Ability to articulate product visionand influence key stakeholders internal and external
- Understand customer needs andtranslate them into product features
- Experience in gathering customersfeedback, validating hypotheses and incorporating user insights into productplanning
- Strong analytical skills and beingvery data driven when needed
- Strong storytelling and presentationskills
- Attention to detail, but have aclear big picture thinking also
- High agency not wait for idealcircumstances to get a job done, instead strive and create the circumstancesyourself!
