Product Lead

Role Overview: You will be responsible for taking part in product design, development, and integration testing. Your role will also involve capturing and modeling requirements, task allocation to team members, preparing unit test cases, code review, source code and version maintenance, and collaborating with the QA team. Additionally, you will work closely with the Product Sales & Support Team for improvements, enhancements, and fixes in the platform. You will need to write robust code, carry out unit tests, report on resource utilizations, and continuously learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and programming languages. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in product design, development, and integration testing - Capture and model requirements, preferably using use cases - Allocate tasks to team members and describe solutions - Estimate hours for tasks, sometimes in consultation with developers - Prepare and guide developers on designing unit test cases - Lead a team of 6-10 developers/Sr. developers - Conduct code reviews and coordinate with the QA team - Maintain source code and versions - Work closely with Product Sales & Support Team for related improvements, enhancements, and fixes in the platform - Write robust code and carry out unit tests by self partially/on demand - Report on resource utilizations - Learn and apply new tools, frameworks, and programming languages Qualification Required: - B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science Additional Details: The company is seeking a Product Lead with 8-12 years of strong experience in software projects/products. You should have a strong knowledge of requirement analysis and software design, PHP programming, MVC architecture, at least one MVC framework (preferably Yii 1/2), RDBMS, MySQL, REST API, XML, JSON, HTML, HTML5, CSS3, version release, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, communication skills, team leadership skills, handling time-critical scenarios under pressure, issue tracking, version management, and working knowledge of Linux. Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS/React will be an added advantage.,
