Were seeking a skilled IoT/RFID Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying RFID-based systems to track baggage. You will lead the technical integration of RFID tags and readers with our custom-built dashboard to ensure real-time visibility, reliability, and system scalability. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy RFID solutions for real-time baggage tracking, including selection of tags, readers, antennas, and positioning strategy. Integrate RFID hardware data with our web-based dashboard (via APIs, MQTT, or other suitable protocols). Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth communication between hardware and software. Conduct feasibility analysis, field testing, and calibration of RFID systems for accuracy and range optimization. Implement IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket) for data transmission to the cloud/dashboard. Ensure data accuracy, security, and redundancy in RFID tracking systems. Document technical specifications, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 2+ years of experience in IoT or RFID-based solutions. Strong understanding of RFID technologies (UHF, LF, HF) and hardware configuration. Hands-on experience with RFID readers (e.g., Impinj, ThingMagic) and tag selection for use in baggage or logistics. Proficiency in Python, C++, or JavaScript for hardware-software integration. Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi). Familiarity with cloud-based IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Google IoT Core, or Azure IoT Hub) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
