Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Product Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in the Sheet Metal / Tubes Manufacturing industry. The role involves reviewing drawings, managing pre-trial and post-trial activities, handling project execution, and ensuring smooth transfer of projects to production. This position requires strong technical knowledge, customer interaction skills, and hands-on experience with manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drawings Review
  

○ Review engineering drawings and ensure accuracy as per customer and production requirements.

• Pretrial Activities
  

○ Prepare necessary setups and resources for trial execution.

• Trial Execution
  

○ Conduct trials and ensure product quality and specifications are met.

• Post-Trial Activities
  

○ Document issues, perform corrective actions, and finalize project learnings.

• Trial Run Reports
  

○ Prepare detailed trial run reports for internal and customer communication.

• Project Handover
  

○ Ensure smooth transition of successful projects to the production team.

• Customer Interaction
  

○ Coordinate with customers for clarifications, approvals, and feedback.

• Project Handling
  

○ Manage assigned projects from initiation to production stage.

Skills And Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience: 2–3 years in Tubes Manufacturing / Sheet Metal Industry
• Technical Skills:
  

○ Proficiency in AutoCAD
○ Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)○ Understanding of manufacturing processes (sheet metal and tubes)

• Soft Skills:
  

○ Strong communication and customer interaction skills
○ Ability to work in a team and handle multiple projects

• Languages: Kannada and English (mandatory); Hindi preferred
