About The Team
We are hiring a product designer for the Publisher team. This team builds SaaS solutions for both smallcase Managers to build their portfolio practice and business, and for smallcase distributors to take smallcases to their client base. The team is also responsible for core consumer app journeys of subscription and payments for investing in a smallcase. You'll be a key player in crafting intuitive and engaging experiences for our users on both our app and website. You'll be part of a dynamic environment where things move quickly and you can see the direct impact of your work.
About The Role
We're looking for someone who's not just talented, but also genuinely excited about shaping the future of investing in India. This isn't just about pixel-pushing; it's about deeply understanding our users and translating complex financial concepts into clear, human-centered designs.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Work on a wide range of projects, from new feature development to product enhancements and from problems that are well-known to those more complex and conceptual.
- Lead the end-to-end design process: Work closely with product & business teams to turn product requirements into elegant and effective design solutions, constantly iterate based on feedback and data and translate your designs to build with engineers.
- Lead design audits, analyze the design components & patterns used across products in order to ensure scalability and consistency of the smallcase design system.
- Embrace a data-driven approach, track key metrics, and use A/B testing and user feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
- Coordinate and participate in UX research to help gather user insights.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of design trends and best practices, especially within the ever-evolving fintech landscape.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience designing experiences for web and mobile interfaces in B2C products.
- Proficiency in Figma (our primary design tool) and strong prototyping skills
- A genuine interest in fintech and a basic understanding of financial products
- Ability to articulate, document and present your design decisions to stakeholders at all levels
- A portfolio showcasing high-quality, thoughtful product design work
Nice to-haves
- Experience in designing B2C fintech products
- Experience contributing to design systems and implementing system components with engineers
