Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Procurement and Finance Officer to support our organization's procurement processes and financial operations. This role ensures cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining compliance with internal controls, budgeting guidelines, and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with organizational goals.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier selection, tendering, negotiation, and contracting.
• Maintain an up-to-date supplier database and build strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and ethical standards.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved quality.
• Coordinate purchase requisitions, orders, delivery schedules, and vendor invoices.

Finance:

• Support the finance team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Monitor spending and ensure expenditures align with approved budgets.
• Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable related to procurement activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
