Job Description

As a Procurement and Supply Chain Management professional, you will be responsible for the following key areas: - **Sourcing & Supply Management**: You will be in charge of sourcing and managing indirect materials, commodities, and services. This includes executing sourcing strategies, identifying vendors, developing vendor relationships, and assessing vendors analytically to enhance supply chain effectiveness. - **Procurement Strategies**: Implement strategic methodologies in sourcing to ensure on-time deliveries, reliable supplies, and maximum cost savings. Your role will involve sourcing materials and services, optimizing their utilization, and finalizing specifications to meet customer orders. - **Vendor Development**: Identify cost-effective and reputable vendors to secure best cost, quality, and reliability. Monitor incoming materials for quality and quantity compliance. Conduct vendor evaluations, audits, and performance ratings based on key performance indicators. - **Quality Assurance**: Drive quality initiatives at process levels to achieve zero defects. Establish quality standards, implement stringent control systems, and ensure compliance with specifications. Support engineering teams and vendors in understanding and meeting quality requirements. - **Import, Export & Customs Compliance**: Oversee import and export procedures, work closely with courier agencies, and develop relationships with global stakeholders to strengthen supply chain and logistics effectiveness. Ensure compliance with trade regulations, coordinate with customs brokers, and track shipments for verification and clearance. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to have a minimum of 3-6 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. A BE in Mechanical Engineering is the required educational standard for this role.,
