Role Overview: As a Procurement Officer, your main responsibility will be to manage vendors and suppliers effectively to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at the best possible prices. You will be required to conduct market research, develop cost-saving strategies, and maintain inventory levels for smooth operations. Additionally, fieldwork and communication with internal departments will be crucial in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate terms and prices to achieve best value for the company. - Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify high-quality products at competitive prices. Stay updated on market trends and emerging suppliers. - Procurement Planning: Develop cost-saving strategies while ensuring quality. Track inventory levels for timely restocking. - Field Work: Visit local vendors to assess product quality and negotiate deals. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods. - Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, update records, and coordinate with internal teams for accurate planning. - Communication: Effectively communicate procurement requirements to vendors and coordinate with internal departments.
