Procurement Specialist

As a Procurement Specialist at Ecolab, you will be responsible for providing data and systems update support to the spend categories in your assigned area(s) of expertise. Reporting to a Procurement Representative within the Compliance, Systems, and Process organization, you will have the opportunity for further career advancement within the organization. Your main responsibilities will include: - Managing master data for assigned purchased goods and services - Executing department procedures and developing ways to automate transaction activity - Obtaining and analyzing data for completeness and accuracy - Managing pricing for assigned purchased goods and services - Analyzing blocked invoices for cause and resolution - Taking corrective action to prevent errors and implementing process changes - Placing purchase orders - Performing data entry into a database or ERP system, handling confidential supplier or business operations data Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field - Immigration Sponsorship is not offered for this role Preferred Qualifications: - Systems aptitude in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP) - Capability to gather and analyze data - Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to build strong relationships with internal associates and external suppliers - Effective time management and task prioritization - Process-oriented with the ability to recommend solutions for inefficiencies - Understanding of the procurement business process - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment At Ecolab, we are committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and belonging.
