Procurement / Purchase Executive

As a Procurement Executive with our company, your role will involve sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, services, and supplies from vendors across PAN India locations. You will be responsible for evaluating vendors" quotations to ensure alignment with project specifications, controlling the procurement budget, and fostering a culture of long-term cost savings. Researching and assessing potential suppliers, preparing procurement reports, and managing cash flow will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery time, and pricing, aligning with organizational requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, services, and supplies from vendors nationwide. - Evaluate vendors" quotations to match technical and commercial project specifications. - Control procurement budget and promote long-term cost savings. - Research and assess prospective suppliers. - Prepare procurement reports and manage cash flow effectively. - Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery time, and prices. - Implement internal procurement strategies for high delivery and short lead time requirements. - Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: - Graduation/Diploma in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration. - 5+ years of experience as a procurement executive in the events/exhibits industry. - Willingness to travel as per project requirements and visit vendors as needed. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Knowledge of Tally will be an added advantage. - Highly organized, detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong negotiation skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Resourceful, self-driven, and proactive in approach.
