Job Description

Job Title : General Manager – Business Development (Government Projects) Position Overview: The General Manager (GM) – Business Development will be responsible for driving the company's growth by leading strategic business development efforts, particularly within government projects. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client relationships (with a focus on government clients), and achieving sales targets. The GM will also oversee lead generation activities across digital and offline platforms, conduct industry research, represent the company at key events, and drive the positioning of our services in competitive markets. Educational Qualifications: The ideal candidate must hold one or more of the following degrees: * Bachelor’s / Master’s in Architecture * Interior Design * Engineering Advanced degrees or relevant professional certifications are an added advantage. Experience: * 10–12 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, particularly within government projects. * Prior experience in museum development, curation, revamping, or creation of Sound and Light shows is highly preferred. * Demonstrated track record of achieving business growth and sales targets. Key Responsibilities: * Develop, execute, and oversee business strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives. * Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities—including markets, clients, partnerships, and services. * Conduct in-depth industry and market research to develop competitive strategies. * Lead lead generation activities through multiple channels, including: Social media platforms (LinkedIn, etc.) Professional networking and calling Email campaigns and online databases Participation in industry events and conferences * Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing government clients. * Analyze client needs and tailor proposals and pitches accordingly. * Collaborate with internal teams (design, sales, marketing) to ensure all client requirements and deliverables are met. * Prepare accurate sales forecasts and ensure progress toward targets. * Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competition, and the company's service offerings.
