Salary

₹20,000 - ₹23,000 gross per month

Experience Required

1 to 2 years in procurement / purchase coordination / related role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and release Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company requirements and procurement policies.
• Coordinate with vendors, mills, and suppliers for fabric & material shipments; approve yardage and ensure proper documentation.
• Inspect incoming goods to verify quality versus specifications; raise and follow up on quality issues.
• Work closely with the stores / warehouse team to monitor stock levels; ensure timely replenishment so there is neither shortage nor excessive inventory.
• Manage monthly stock audits / inventory checks; forecast demands and place orders to maintain optimum stock.
• Source, evaluate and develop new vendors and mills to diversify sourcing options.
• Maintain price comparison sheets and supplier quotations to ensure cost effectiveness; ensure proper record keeping.
• Maintain regular communication with vendors/suppliers for order status, deliveries, and to resolve any issues related to delays, quality or logistics.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (a degree in textile / apparel / business / commerce is a plus)
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in procurement / purchase in textile / apparel / uniform / workwear / manufacturing environment preferred
• Good understanding of fabrics, yardage, quality parameters, and vendor / supply chain management
• Strong organizational skills; attention to detail in documentation, pricing, quality checks etc.
• Good communication skills (verbal & written) in English and Marathi / Hindi as relevant.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure to meet delivery timelines.
• Basic proficiency with Excel or similar tools for tracking orders, inventory, and price comparisons.
