Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Procurement Manager located in Namakkal. The Procurement Manager will oversee procurement activities which include managing supplier relationships, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring optimal procurement strategies are implemented. The role involves monitoring procurement budgets, ensuring compliance with company standards, and sourcing high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Supplier Evaluation and Contract Negotiation to build and maintain strong supplier relationships and to secure favorable terms.
  • Experience in Procurement and Contract Management to ensure effective procurement strategies and contract execution.
  • Analytical Skills to assess market trends, perform cost analysis, and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders and vendors.
  • Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration; professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are a plus.
  • Prior experience in the food industry or relevant sectors is beneficial.
