Procurement Manager

As a Green Coffee Procurement Manager at Plantrich Group, you will play a crucial role in expanding the sourcing network of organic coffee across India and Uganda. Your responsibilities will include end-to-end procurement of green coffee from farmer groups, associations, and large plantations. You will lead strong price negotiations with suppliers while ensuring fairness and sustainability. Additionally, you will coordinate with agronomists and field inspectors, build long-term relationships with farmers and plantations, and monitor quality standards throughout the procurement process. Key Responsibilities: - End-to-end procurement of green coffee from farmer groups, associations & large plantations - Strong price negotiation with suppliers while ensuring fairness and sustainability - Coordinating with agronomists & field inspectors - Building long-term relationships with farmers and plantations - Monitoring quality, field drying, hulling, transport & warehouse standards - Managing procurement budgets, volumes, season planning & shipment readiness Qualifications Required: - 3-7 years of experience in green coffee procurement (mandatory) - Strong track record in negotiations, supplier management & field operations - Excellent understanding of coffee grades, moisture, out-turn, defects & quality - Ability to work closely with farmers and lead cluster-level sourcing - Experience in India coffee belts is a strong plus - Passion for sustainability, social impact & ethical sourcing If you join Plantrich Group, you will have the opportunity to work directly with 5000+ farmers, creating a real community impact.
