As a Manager in the Business Consulting team at EY-GDS, you will have the opportunity to shape the procurement strategy and transformation agenda for clients, leading engagements that drive enterprise-wide impact and strengthen procurement effectiveness. Your role will involve developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with client and organizational objectives, as well as driving digital procurement capabilities and fostering continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, developing go-to-market strategies, and mentoring team members to enhance their skill set. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, refine, and implement procurement strategies aligned with client and organizational business objectives - Lead large-scale procurement transformation engagements encompassing process redesign, operating model enhancements, governance, and change management - Support clients in identifying and adopting digital procurement solutions ensuring effective implementation and value realization - Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across procurement processes - Lead cross-functional teams in the creation of procurement proposals, fostering collaboration to ensure alignment with market trends and organizational goals - Develop and drive procurement go-to-market strategies that align with organizational objectives, ensuring competitive differentiation in proposals - Conduct market assessments to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in procurement practices, ensuring the organization remains competitive - Foster a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring and developing team members, enhancing their skill set - Organize training and development initiatives to build internal capabilities, ensuring the team is equipped to meet evolving market demands - Track and analyze procurement performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership on the impact of procurement strategies on overall business success - Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment on procurement objectives and outcomes **Skills And Attributes For Success:** - Strong domain expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier management, contract management, and digital procurement tools - Demonstrated success in leading procurement transformation programs with measurable business impact - Proven track record of leading and mentoring teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement - Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing, and interpersonal communication skills - Strong project management capabilities, with experience in delivering multiple initiatives simultaneously on time and within budget - Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and propose actionable recommendations - Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of coaching, developing, and managing high-performing teams - High degree of business acumen, strategic orientation, and problem-solving ability **Qualifications Required:** - Masters degree in Business Administration or Supply chain & Operations from a Tier-1/ Tier-2 institute, with 8-10 years of relevant experience - Proven track record of delivering procurement transformation engagements with measurable impact - Experience in leading cost optimization, category strategies, and strategic sourcing across multiple spend categories - Experience in delivering procurement transformation projects involving process re-design, P2P/S2P system implementation, or digital procurement enablement - Familiarity with procurement technologies such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, or similar platforms - Agile mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving client needs and dynamic project environment - Supply chain consulting experience in Big 4, Supply chain global consulting firms preferred - Ability and willingness to travel approximately 30%, depending on project requirements At EY, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals in an integrated global transaction business, providing services across a range of industries.
