Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the procurement team, driving clear goals, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement operations, including supplier sourcing, purchase order management, and vendor performance monitoring.
  • Ensure accurate inventory planning to avoid stockouts and overstock, aligning with sales forecasts and marketing campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
  • Negotiate favorable terms, costs, and lead times to optimize margins and business efficiency.
  • Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, marketing, finance, and compliance teams to ensure smooth alignment on stock requirements, timelines, and product updates.
  • Drive procurement and supply chain initiatives with a project management mindsetplan, execute, monitor, and close projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Track milestones, escalate risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, including import/export procedures.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analysis, and inventory updates to management.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Flexible and adaptable, able to respond quickly to business needs and market changes.
  • Demonstrated team management and leadership experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured in approach to processes and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems, reporting tools, MS Office, and ERP platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in procurement/supply chain management, with exposure to inventory planning, supplier negotiations, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience in managing procurement/supply chain projects with defined timelines and budgets.
  • Knowledge of import/export compliance is preferred.
  • Prior background in FMCG, food supplements, healthcare, or consumer goods will be an added advantage.
