Job Description

As a Procurement/Purchase Executive at our company, your role involves managing supplier relationships, developing procurement strategies, overseeing inventory levels, controlling costs, ensuring compliance with policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities include: - Supplier Management: - Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability. - Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers. - Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure the best value. - Procurement Process: - Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives. - Manage the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery. - Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and requisitions. - Inventory Management: - Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels. - Coordinate with the warehouse team for inventory audits and stock reconciliations. - Cost Management: - Analyze and manage procurement costs to maintain budgetary control. - Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. - Compliance and Documentation: - Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. - Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, orders, and supplier performance. - Reporting and Analysis: - Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance. - Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and pricing. - Collaboration: - Work closely with the finance, project management, and operations teams to align procurement activities with project needs. - Support cross-functional teams in achieving project goals and deadlines. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry. - Strong negotiation and contract management skills. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Knowledge of supply chain management best practices. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in the solar or renewable energy industry. - Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
