Procurement Engineer

As a Procurement Engineer at ClickForge located in Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur, your role will involve strategically planning and implementing procurement processes for the timely and cost-effective acquisition of truck and trailer parts. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing strategic procurement plans to acquire truck and trailer parts efficiently. - Analyzing market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Collaborating with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives. In addition, you will be responsible for: - Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts for favorable terms. - Evaluating supplier performance against metrics and implementing corrective actions as necessary. - Identifying alternative suppliers to mitigate risks and ensure a continuous supply chain. You will also need to: - Utilize advanced data analytics tools to analyze supply chain data and forecast demand. - Develop accurate demand forecasts and inventory models for optimized inventory levels. - Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key insights to senior management. Furthermore, you will be expected to: - Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain and procurement processes for enhanced efficiency. - Identify opportunities for automation and digitization of procurement processes. - Lead cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. Qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. - 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement with a focus on data analysis. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of driving process improvements. - Knowledge of procurement principles and inventory management techniques. - Experience in the automotive or transportation industry is a plus.
