Procurement Associate

Role & responsibilities

1. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and pricing.
2. Utilize ERP systems to track inventory levels, analyze spending patterns, and streamline procurement processes.3. Oversee contract management processes to ensure compliance and minimize risks.4. Conduct regular audits of procurement activities to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.5. Perform financial analysis to monitor budget spending and forecast future procurement needs.6. Stay up-to-date on GST regulations and ensure compliance in all procurement transactions.7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelors degree in supply chain management, business administration, Engineering, or related field.

2. 0–2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may apply).

3. Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

4. Familiarity with procurement software/ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Keka, Zoho, etc.) preferred.

5. Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

6. Knowledge of statutory requirements, GST invoicing, and vendor compliance is an advantage
