Process Leader

Role Overview: At Tetra Pak, you will be part of a global team committed to making food safe and available everywhere, while protecting what's good for food, people, and the planet. As a Process Leader in the BS Ice Cream division, based in Chakan, Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in developing and standardizing skid-based processing modules, optimizing costs, and providing on-site customer support. Your responsibilities will also include managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Develop technical concepts and solutions, manage projects of various scales, and collaborate with experts to prepare reliable quotations and meet quality standards. - Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure timely delivery of modules and skids. - Provide technical support to the Supplier Management Team and validate local suppliers. - Lead process design activities, engineering solutions, specify components, calculate costs, and prepare quotations and contractual documents. - Manage projects from customer needs evaluation to handover, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and scope compliance. - Prepare and lead design and risk reviews, time scheduling, commissioning, and performance commitments. - Collaborate closely with the Supply Management organization and ensure the quality of hygienic installation drawings. - Support site installation team as needed and coordinate technically with cross-functional teams. - Lead commissioning activities up to customer handover and act as Project Manager for selected projects in the absence of the designated Project Manager. - Represent Tetra Pak as an ambassador. Qualifications Required: - University degree or equivalent in Mechanical/Process/Food Engineering. - Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written. - Minimum 5-7 years of work experience in engineering, commissioning, and project leadership. - Experience in the food/liquid processing industry, with a preference for Ice Cream mix plants design/commissioning. - Proficiency in MS Office tools, SAP, AutoCAD, and engineering design tools. - Client-facing experience with a customer-focused mindset. - Good technical and commercial negotiation skills, analytical problem-solving methodology, and self-driven personality.,
