Position Summary: As a Process Expert/Sr. Process Expert within our SCM FinOps team, you will own and manage the end-to-end customer experience within your assigned scope, ensuring compliance with company procedures and customer agreements. This role requires a strong understanding of finance and accounting, combined with expertise in FinOps processes and SAP S/4HANA. You will be instrumental in maintaining accurate financial information, driving process improvements, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Customer Account Management: Manage customer accounts from end to end, ensuring Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO) are accurately placed and invoicing is done on time. Collaborate proactively and effectively with cashbox teams, Customer Service Operations (CSO), and Customer Service Professionals (CSP) to ensure rates are filed on time. Ensure all criteria are met to improve the automation of Sales Order (SO) and Purchase Order (PO) processes. Ensure on-time and correct job costing is completed before month-end closure. Adhere strictly to RICC (Risk, Internal Control, and Compliance) control guidelines. Process Ownership & Improvement: Maintain the process landscape by monitoring, prioritizing, and optimizing existing processes within your scope. Provide ideas for improvements and take initiative in process improvement and automation projects. Drive and/or be involved in strategic team projects aimed at enhancing operational excellence. Provide essential support to execution teams by addressing process-related queries. Inform your Supervisor/Leader immediately about any process issues or deviations. Operational Excellence & Compliance: Ensure the preparation of reliable and accurate accounting information. Execute all tasks and processes according to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Help new team members settle into the team and actively share knowledge to foster collective growth. Collaborate proactively and effectively with multiple stakeholders in CSO, CEN (Central Execution Network), and GSCOPS (Global Service Centre Operations). Position Specifications: Experience:2 to 4 years of overall work experience , with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a shipping or operational financial role . Good knowledge of finance & accounting principles. Technical Skills: Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA . Detailed understanding of FinOps processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) . Communication: Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential. Education: Graduate, ideally in Finance and Accounting. Job Knowledge & Competency: Understand the Operational & FinOps business processes across Maersk SCM business.
