Main Purpose of Job

Unique opportunity to join the ISS treasury team in the development and rollout of our global FX support service:

Responsible for supporting our end-to-end Foreign Exchange solution across existing platforms
Work closely with FX Manager and other SMEs to monitor/improve current solution to increase efficiency and revenue
Investigation and problem solve workflow issues through analysis and resolution through close communication with development teams

Specific responsibilities and accountabilities focused on FX

Support roll out of FX services across Inchcape Shipping Services

Work with SMEs across the organisation to monitor/improve the FX solution by assessing any problems, incorporating and implementing feedback and requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating product vision, progress, and addressing any concerns
Work closely with development teams and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration/communication throughout the product lifecycle.
Investigate and resolve any issues that occur within the workflow with an emphasis on root cause analysis to facilitate product development.
Work with the various product teams to enhance and improve our current solution
Adhere to and promote group policies, reports to senior management and stakeholders
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development

Develop and enhance knowledge of FX markets to enhance product offering

Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
Stay updated on FX products, services, and industry practices to identify opportunities for improvement.
Developing and maintaining operational processes through documentation updates and cross-training.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
Experience and understanding of Foreign Exchange
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar systems related role
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Independent self starter, capable of evaluating issues and working and driving the business to find and implement solutions

Essential

Experience at Business Unit level with excellent communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities
Flexibility to multi task and quickly resolve issues across multiple timezones.
Bachelors degree in Finance, IT or related field
Always showing a pro-active approach to work

Desirable

Process orientated
Experience of working in a pressurized environment as tasks are time-critical
