Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and standardizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, ensure consistent product quality, and maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards. The role supports new part development and continuous improvement across the manufacturing unit.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct

  PFMEA, PFD, DFM

  , and risk analysis for new and existing processes.
• Perform

  DFM reviews

  with external customers and cross-functional teams.
• Carry out

  layout inspections, MSA, and SPC

  to ensure process capability and control.
• Lead structured problem-solving using

  8D, Why-Why Analysis, and 7 QC Tools

  .
• Perform regular

  process audits

  to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• Execute

  process and machine validation

  activities.
• Implement and manage

  change management

  activities for process improvements.
• Ensure project development activities are executed as per

  APQP

  requirements.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost.
  
• Coordinate across multiple manufacturing processes to ensure smooth and seamless execution.
  

Qualification & Experience Required

• B.E. / B.Tech

  in Mechanical or Production Engineering.

• 5 to 8 years

  of hands-on experience in new part development, preferably in automotive or precision manufacturing industries.
• Experience in customer and supplier interactions including technical discussions, audits, and complaint resolution.
  
• Strong expertise in handling and interpreting data from precision inspection instruments such as

  CMM, profile projector, surface tester, height gauge

  , etc.
• Thorough knowledge of

  Quality Core Tools

  : APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC.
• Strong working knowledge of

  High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC), Painting, and Machining

  processes, including optimization and troubleshooting.
