Planning Manager

On-Time Delivery (OTD)

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive, consolidate, and analyze customer demands, orders, and forecasts, and convert them into executable manufacturing plans.
  
• Develop manufacturing plans considering customer priorities, demand variability, and capacity constraints.
  
• Ensure timely BOM availability for weekly and monthly production in coordination with procurement teams.
  
• Monitor, maintain, and validate system setups and master data in

  JDE 9.2

  to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and escalate gaps or risks proactively.
  
• Generate, consolidate, and track MIS and performance reports reflecting plant and supply chain performance.
  
• Coordinate with customers and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 23 planning professionals to achieve departmental objectives.
  

Qualification & Experience Required

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering.
  
• 8 to 10 years of experience in PPC, demand planning, or supply chain/logistics roles.
  
• Experience in engineering or auto ancillary industries handling

  500+ finished goods

  .
• Strong knowledge of demand-driven planning in supply chains with long lead times.
  
• Functional expertise in ERP systems, preferably

  JDE 9.2 (Sales & Distribution)

  .
• Proven ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data.
  
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Macros) and

  Power BI

  .
• Ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional, and multi-location teams.
