JOB DESCRIPTION Title: Senior Manager - DGM Electrical - Design The position reports to: Head- Design & Engineering 1. Purpose 1. To lead and oversee the Electrical Design of all projects by collaborating, engaging, and directing the Consultants, Internal stakeholders, and Contractors. 2. Act as the point of contact in the Design & Engineering team to interface internally and externally on all issues related to Electrical project design guidelines, and audits, assisting in execution and delivery. 3. Must be able to lead the Electrical team to complete tasks within established project schedules and budget constraints. 2. Role Description 1) Overall responsible for developing and designing detailed engineering activities. Provides technical advice/input relevant to Electrical systems. 2) Review,& scrutinizewith value enginnering to engineering reports, budgets, tender documents, and cost estimates and assists in the evaluation of the proposal 3) Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews electrical design for planning, designing, and cost estimating. Attends pre-construction meetings with internal stakeholders, consultants, Vendors, etc.& and interacts with them to develop requirement-specific solutions. 4) Interact with Technical Consultants to ensure design achievability.
