Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for improvement, including raw materials, bought-out components, process optimization, and fixture design.
Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams to implement robust and efficient processes.
Design and explore new processes or technologies to support manufacturing innovation.
Analyze engineering drawings and determine the optimal process flow for machining, bench work, and assembly operations.
Create and maintain process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and technical reports.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Coordinate with team members and other departments on process improvements and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in process engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Practical knowledge of VMC, CNC machines, and related machining processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in engineering software and tools (e.g., UG NX, CATIA, NC programming).
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Experience in fixture design, inspection methodologies, and process documentation such as Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Control Plans, PFMEA, stage drawing preparation, and assembly techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
