Profile: Payroll Specialist – US Payroll (2–3 Years Experience)


Work Location:
Ambattur, Chennai


Shift Timing:


  • Primary: 9:30 PM – 6:30 AM (IST)


  • Monthly Rotational Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM (IST)
    (Flexibility to work in rotational shifts is mandatory)

  • No hybrid/ No remote/ No work from model of working. Must be available in the office 5 days a week

Job Summary


We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in US Payroll processing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate payroll execution, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with US payroll practices.


Key Responsibilities


  • Process end-to-end US payroll for employees across multiple payroll frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly).


  • Work on payroll systems to ensure accurate employee data management and payroll processing.


  • Handle and resolve payroll discrepancies, employee queries, and adjustments in a timely manner.


  • Maintain compliance with US payroll regulations, policies, and internal audit requirements.


  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations.


  • Prepare and validate payroll reports for internal and external audits.


  • Support ad-hoc payroll-related projects as required.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • 2–3 years of proven experience in US Payroll.


  • Strong knowledge of payroll frequencies commonly used in the US.


  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems/software.


  • Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies effectively.


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


  • Willingness and flexibility to work in night shifts with monthly rotational shift timings.


  • Immediate availability to join.
