PROCESS and CONTROLS - SOX - Manager

As a Manager in the Consulting - SOX team at EY, you will be part of a rapidly growing practice where you will have the opportunity to work with globally recognized brands and gain a deeper understanding of complex business transactions. Your role will involve managing a team to deliver SOX engagements, providing guidance on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, conducting control rationalization activities, evaluating control gaps, and leading area-specific transition plans within agreed timelines. Additionally, you will be involved in client relationship management, market leadership, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage a team of Staffs and Seniors across locations to deliver SOX engagements - Provide guidance to conduct effective assessments for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance - Lead control rationalization and standardization activities - Evaluate control gaps, provide recommendations, and track remediation - Define budget, track actuals, and plan resources - Independently manage client process owners with minimal supervision - Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving - Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues - Spearhead analytics and benchmarking activities - Drive process automation and continuous improvements - Executive-level client relationship management - Assist in driving the account management agenda - Contribute to new solution development and EY thought leadership - Support innovation initiatives leveraging emerging technologies **Qualifications Required:** - More than 7 years of experience in risks & controls, with over 4 years in SOX/internal controls - Strong understanding of SOX and COSO framework - CIA certification preferred - Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related field - Strong multi-project management skills - Exceptional command of spoken and written English - Globally mobile and flexible to travel - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively This role at EY offers you the opportunity to work with inspiring and meaningful projects, education, coaching, and practical experience for personal development.
