Job Description

Probe Card and Boards Design Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and development of probe cards, load boards, and test interface hardware for ATE-based testing.
  • Define probe card specifications and ensure alignment with test requirements and ATE constraints.
  • Collaborate with DFT, validation, and product engineering teams to capture hardware needs.
  • Review schematics and PCB layouts for signal integrity, power integrity, and mechanical compliance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and OSAT partners for fabrication, delivery, and debug.
  • Support high-speed signal path characterization and hardware bring-up on Teradyne UltraFlex, Advantest T2000.
  • Manage project timelines, design reviews, and ensure hardware readiness for silicon validation.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • 18 to 25 years of experience in probe card development, ATE hardware interface design, or board-level hardware design.
  • Strong knowledge of probe card technologies (MEMS, vertical, cantilever) and DUT alignment.
  • Proficiency in PCB design tools (Cadence Allegro, Mentor Xpedition) and schematic capture.
  • Expertise in high-speed signal routing, power delivery, controlled impedance, and board stack-up design.
  • Solid understanding of ATE platforms and mechanical design constraints.
  • Hands-on experience with lab debugging and ATE test floor support.
