Key Responsibilities

• Design & Engineering Leadership

• Lead civil and structural engineering design for pharma/biotech projects including

  R&D labs, cleanrooms, manufacturing plants, utility buildings, and warehouses

  .
• Ensure designs are compliant with

  cGMP, FDA, EMA, and local building codes

  .
• Oversee preparation and review of

  civil/structural drawings, calculations, and specifications

  .

• Project Management

• Manage multiple projects from concept through detailed design, construction, and handover.
• Coordinate with

  multi-disciplinary teams (Architectural, MEP, Process, Safety, and Validation)

  .
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Construction Support

• Provide technical oversight during construction including

  site supervision, contractor coordination, and resolving field issues

  .
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to design intent and safety standards.

• Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as primary point of contact for civil/structural engineering matters.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and provide engineering solutions aligned with business needs.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports.

• Team Development & Leadership

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Drive knowledge-sharing and adoption of best practices across the engineering team.
• Support capability building in advanced design tools and sustainable practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. (Civil/Structural Engineering) from a reputed institution.

• 15–20 years of experience

  in civil/structural design and project execution.
• Proven experience in

  Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, or related regulated industries

  (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of

  international building codes, structural standards, and cGMP guidelines

  .
• Experience in large-scale

  greenfield/brownfield projects

  .
• Proficiency in structural analysis/design tools (STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, Revit, AutoCAD, BIM).
• Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills.
