Principal / Sr. Principal Engineer (Civil)

As a Senior Principal Engineer (Civil) located in Gurgaon, your responsibilities will include: - **Design & Engineering Leadership**: - Lead civil and structural engineering design for pharma/biotech projects such as R&D labs, cleanrooms, manufacturing plants, utility buildings, and warehouses. - Ensure that designs comply with cGMP, FDA, EMA, and local building codes. - Supervise the preparation and review of civil/structural drawings, calculations, and specifications. - **Project Management**: - Oversee multiple projects from concept to detailed design, construction, and handover. - Coordinate with various teams like Architectural, MEP, Process, Safety, and Validation. - Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. - **Construction Support**: - Provide technical oversight during construction, including site supervision, contractor coordination, and resolution of field issues. - Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design intent and safety standards. - **Client & Stakeholder Engagement**: - Serve as the primary contact for civil/structural engineering matters. - Engage with clients to understand their requirements and offer engineering solutions that meet business needs. - Prepare and deliver technical presentations and reports. - **Team Development & Leadership**: - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance. - Encourage knowledge-sharing and the adoption of best practices within the engineering team. - Support the development of capabilities in advanced design tools and sustainable practices. **Required Qualifications & Experience**: - B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. in Civil/Structural Engineering from a reputed institution. - Minimum of 15-20 years of experience in civil/structural design and project execution. - Proven track record in Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, or related regulated industries (mandatory). - Strong knowledge of international building codes, structural standards, and cGMP guidelines. - Experience in managing large-scale greenfield/brownfield projects. - Proficiency in structural analysis/design tools such as STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAFE, Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM. - Excellent leadership, client management, and communication skills.,
