This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer - Angular & Azure in India.
This role offers a senior-level opportunity to lead the development of modern web applications using Angular and Microsoft Azure. The successful candidate will work on scalable, microservices-based architectures, providing technical leadership and architectural guidance across projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and high-performance solutions while mentoring junior engineers. The position combines remote flexibility with an initial on-site onboarding period in Vadodara, providing exposure to cutting-edge frontend and cloud technologies, as well as opportunities to influence key architectural decisions and development practices.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade web applications using Angular v10+ and Azure cloud services
- Architect and maintain microservices-based systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance
- Implement frontend best practices, reusable components, and maintainable code structures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, deliver solutions, and integrate services such as Azure Service Bus
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, mentoring, and setting standards for the development team
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes to improve software quality
- Continuously evaluate and improve system architecture, application performance, and cloud integration patterns
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in software development, with strong frontend or full-stack expertise
- 2-4 years hands-on experience with Angular v10+ and 3+ years in overall Angular frontend development
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure, including at least 1 year with Azure Service Bus
- 1+ year of experience designing and working with microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and REST APIs
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and containerized environments
- Proven leadership skills, ability to make architectural decisions, and mentor engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in a remote or hybrid environment
