We empower independent musicians through consistent, paid gigs while helping venues elevate guest experience through curated cultural programming.


As we scale nationally, we are building a high-performance sales engine and this role sits at the very top of it.


Role Overview

The Principal Sales Partner is a senior, revenue-owning role responsible for driving Qalakaar’s B2B expansion across India.


You will identify, close, and grow partnerships with hotels, restaurants, lifestyle spaces, malls, and brands that can benefit from curated live music programming.


This is a high autonomy, high earning opportunity with no cap on commissions and the freedom to shape Qalakaar’s national sales strategy.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Hunting

  • Identify and qualify high-value B2B prospects across hospitality, real estate, retail, corporate, and lifestyle verticals.
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline using a structured outbound and relationship-driven approach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand venue or brand needs and position Qalakaar’s solutions accordingly.


Consultative Selling

  • Craft tailored proposals using first principles thinking that focus on guest experience, brand value, and ROI for the client.
  • Deliver compelling pitches to CXOs, GMs, marketing heads, and experience directors.
  • Negotiate retainers, long-term contracts, and city-level rollouts.


Account Ownership and Growth

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure to handover.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client leadership and identify cross-sell or upsell opportunities.
  • Track performance metrics and revenue outcomes with clear reporting.


Strategy and Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Founder’s Office to refine sales narratives, pricing, and outreach frameworks.
  • Provide market insights that influence product expansion and service innovation.
  • Help build repeatable sales systems, playbooks, and best practices.


Ideal Candidate

Must-Haves

  • 10+ years of proven success in B2B sales, partnerships, business development, or enterprise accounts.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with experience pitching to CXO and GM-level decision makers.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to craft compelling business narratives.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable working remotely with complete ownership.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience in hospitality, experiential marketing, luxury brands, or SaaS enterprise sales.
  • Existing network in hotels, F&B groups, lifestyle real estate, or marketing agencies.
  • Passion for culture, music, and experiential design.
