Role Name : Principal Architect
Role Summary :
This role is responsible for defining the entire technical direction of the project
—architecture, framework selection, code structure, best practices, and
development standards. The architect ensures that every feature built by the
team is scalable, maintainable, secure, testable, and follows Apple’s
recommended development patterns.
Core Responsibilities :
1. Architecture & System Design
• Define the app’s overall architecture and project structure.
• Design scalable, modular, and reusable components.
2. Technology & Framework Decisions
• Select appropriate iOS frameworks and tools.
• Decide patterns for networking, storage, and UI layers.
3. Coding Standards & Best Practices
• Set coding guidelines and naming conventions.
• Review critical pull requests and ensure code quality.
4. Git/GitHub Workflow Leadership
• Define branching strategy, pull-request rules, and versioning.
• Ensure smooth collaboration across development teams.
5. Performance & Security
• Optimize app performance and memory usage.
• Implement secure data handling and follow iOS security best practices.
6. Technical Leadership & Mentoring
• Guide developers on architecture, frameworks, and patterns.
• Provide technical support, training, and complex debugging help.
