The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and research, possess deep knowledge of media theories and practices, and contribute to the university’s academic excellence and innovative teaching environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Media & Communication. Develop and update course curriculum in line with the latest academic and industry trends. Mentor and guide students in academic projects, dissertations, and internships. Engage in original research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and participate in academic conferences. Collaborate with other faculty on interdisciplinary initiatives and curriculum development. Participate in department activities, academic administration, and university-level committees. Eligibility Criteria: Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. in Media & Communication or related disciplines from a reputed institution. Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Media & Communication , Mass Communication , Journalism , or related fields from recognized universities. Institutional Requirement: Ph.D. must be obtained from a university/institution ranked among the Top 50 in NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework – India). Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Assistant Professor or in a comparable teaching role in a recognized academic institution. Desirable Attributes: Strong academic and research background with publications in reputed journals. Proficiency in digital media, content creation, media ethics, and media technology. Experience in handling media labs, production work, and multimedia tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and contribute to institutional goals.
