Job Description

As a highly accomplished Technical Director Electrical with extensive experience in Plant Design Engineering consulting for Life Sciences, Pharma, and Biotech facilities, your role requires subject matter expertise in electrical system design, engineering, and compliance for complex, regulated projects. - Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical engineering in large-scale life sciences, pharma, and biotech plant design projects. - Lead and review electrical design deliverables, including: - Single line diagrams (SLDs), load lists, and power distribution schemes. - Lighting layouts, earthing, lightning protection, and cable routing. - Specifications for transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS, DG systems. - Define and implement electrical design standards, philosophies, and guidelines in compliance with international codes and pharma regulations. - Provide technical leadership for power system studies (short circuit, load flow, protection coordination, arc flash analysis). - Review 3D modeling (Plant 3D, SmartPlant Electrical) and interdisciplinary coordination with piping, HVAC, and instrumentation teams. - Advise clients on energy efficiency, renewable integration, and sustainable electrical design practices. - Support business development through technical expertise in proposals, presentations, and client interactions. - Mentor and coach electrical engineering teams to ensure delivery of world-class engineering outputs.
