Job Title: Assistant Manager Electrical Engineering Department: Pellet & Beneficiation Plant-Electrical Location: Kandra, Jamshedpur Reports To: Manager / HOD – Electrical Job Purpose: To lead electrical maintenance and reliability initiatives ensuring plant availability, safety, and energy efficiency across the Pellet and Beneficiation Plant. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise the execution of maintenance activities for all plant electrical systems (HT/LT). Ensure equipment reliability through RCA, FMEA, and condition monitoring tools. Manage energy consumption and implement energy-saving projects. Coordinate automation system reliability – PLC/DCS/SCADA-based controls. Prepare and monitor annual maintenance plans, budgets, and inventory planning. Drive electrical safety initiatives, audits, and statutory inspections. Liaise with vendors, OEMs, and contractors for AMC and project execution. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians for skill development. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills. Expertise in PLC/SCADA/Automation systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in SAP/CMMS and data-driven decision-making. In-depth knowledge of industrial safety and statutory compliance. Qualifications: Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering 8–12 years of experience in electrical maintenance in Pellet & Beneficiation Plant (preferably steel industries)
