Job Description

As a Principal Associate in the Corporate & Commercial practice area, your role will involve: - Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents like SSA, SPA, SHA, BTA, term sheet, etc. - Handling PE/VC/M&A matters in both unlisted and listed spaces, including open offers, delisting, etc. - Managing end-to-end closing of transactions. - Demonstrating a strong grasp of corporate laws such as the Companies Act, 2013, SEBI laws (e.g., LODR, PIT regulations), and foreign exchange laws. - Leading due diligence processes. - Effectively communicating with clients. - Adapting to new areas of law and various work streams, including advisory, drafting, negotiations, and corporate litigation. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or BA LLB degree. - 6 to 8 years of experience in the field.
