Role Overview

Primavera P6 Techno-Functional Consultant


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize Primavera P6 to meet business requirements.
  • Provide functional expertise in project planning, scheduling, and controls.
  • Develop and maintain P6 reports, dashboards, and integrations with ERP or BI tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specifications.
  • Perform data migration, validation, and system upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Primavera P6.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide user support.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance and control standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Primavera P6 implementation and support.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and integration tools (Web Services, APIs).
  • Experience with Primavera P6 EPPM and P6 Professional.
  • Familiarity with Oracle databases and enterprise applications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle Primavera P6 certification.
  • Experience in construction, oil & gas, utilities, or infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
