We are currently looking for a Customer Service Executive (Freight Forwarding) with prior industry experience to join our team in Kochi.

Role Overview:

As a Pricing Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and overseas agents. You will be responsible for handling customer queries, coordinating with agents, updating pricing in our systems, and ensuring smooth operations across shipments. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service support for freight forwarding operations, ensuring timely and professional responses.
• Handle client queries, shipment documentation, and end-to-end follow-ups.
• Act as a liaison with overseas agents, including:
• Reviewing and processing agent invoices.
• Monitoring and reporting overdue amounts.
• Coordinating with the Accounts Department to release payments to agents.
• Update general freight rates in Ipack (account software) and keep records accurate and current.
• Collect, review, and act on feedback from the Sales Department to improve pricing and service delivery.
• Support the sales and operations team with rate inquiries and shipment tracking.
• Maintain strong communication channels with carriers, agents, and internal teams.
• Assist in resolving any customer complaints or escalations in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and international shipping standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight forwarding customer service (mandatory).
• Strong communication skills with proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
• Knowledge of freight forwarding operations, shipping documentation, and pricing procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise, and work under deadlines.
• Negotiation skills to handle agents and clients effectively.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office) and prior exposure to account software or similar software preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-focused mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
