About the job Athena Global Technologies, founded in 1992 is a global, high-growth, technically advanced software product and tech development firm located in the US and India. By harnessing an extensive toolbox of advanced technologies, AGT delivers high speed, high-quality and invested products to its clients around the world is seeking a Solutions Consultant (pre-sales Solution Engineer) to support sales. You will partner with our sales teams by applying your technical abilities and business acumen in support of acquisition of net new and growth of existing logos. What you’ll do to be successful as a Solution Engineer • Actively participate in the sales process and work closely with sales • Discover and understand customer requirements and align our solutions to those requirements • Present AGT business functions, value, and competitive differences • Assist in developing proposals, RFP responses and contribute to marketing asset builds as well as website content Requirements • Must-have attributes include exceptional communication skills, high EQ, expertise in discovering customer requirements, and the ability to articulate and demonstrate enterprise solutions aligned to business outcomes. • 5+ years of professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in a system integrator, bespoke software company • 2+ years configuring, implementing, or managing software • Experience leading a small team is desirable • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills • A working knowledge of AI/ML, Data services, cloud, big-data, databases, virtualization, web services, full stack applications, low-code and more • Proficiency with and understanding of foundational and modern programmable languages such as Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, and Go. APIs and many tools used in application development and solutions building • Hands-on experience working with hyper-scalers and cloud born applications • Full understanding of SDLC, Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid Agile approaches Location: India or preferably Hyderabad Education: BA/BS or global equivalent; 5 years of related experience
