This role is for someone who is strong in technology, excellent in communication, and confident in client-facing discussions. You don’t need prior ServiceNow experience - you need the capability to learn it fast, understand enterprise IT problems, and explain solutions clearly. You will be trained on ServiceNow, but your foundational pre-sales skills must be solid.
* Understand client requirements and propose solution approaches (training will be provided for ServiceNow specifics).
* Work closely with Sales & Delivery teams to prepare tailored demos and proposals.
* Collaborate on RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and value positioning.
* Conduct requirement discovery meetings with clients and translate them into solution narratives.
* Support in creating pitch decks, capability documents, and product walkthroughs.
* Continuously learn the ServiceNow platform and align your solutioning to business use-cases.
These are mandatory, not optional - because without these, they won’t survive in pre-sales:
* Strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts (ITSM, workflows, cloud fundamentals, integrations).
* Ability to analyze business problems and map them to technical solutions.
* Excellent written and verbal communication - proposals, presentations, client conversations.
* Comfort presenting to CXO-level audiences.
* High energy, structured thinking, and ability to learn new technology platforms quickly.
* Strong coordination skills with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams.
* Good at storytelling and explaining “why this solution matters.”
* Exposure to SaaS products (any platform).
* Experience in IT consulting, pre-sales, or solution engineering.
* Basic understanding of ITSM / workflow automation tools.
* Experience working on proposals, SOWs, or solution decks.
