As a ServiceNow ITOM & CMDB Developer at LMTEQ, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions, with a focus on Configuration Management Database (CMDB), discovery, service mapping, and integrations. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing ITOM functionalities to enhance configuration management, operational efficiency, and IT service reliability. Here are the key responsibilities you will handle: - Discovery and Event Management: - Implement and manage ServiceNow Discovery to identify and maintain Configuration Items (CIs). - Configure and optimize ServiceNow Event Management, including integrations with third-party monitoring tools. - Diagnose and resolve complex discovery and event management issues. - CMDB Management and Enhancement: - Manage and enhance the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) in alignment with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM). - Ensure CI data integrity, compliance, and governance standards. - Implement advanced CMDB features such as Agent Client Collector (ACC) and service mapping for application and infrastructure components. - Integration and Customization: - Build and optimize integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and APIs for tools like AD, MID Servers, and cloud environments. - Develop custom discovery patterns, workflows, and solutions tailored to specific business needs. - Collaboration and Agile Development: - Work within a Scrum-based Agile framework to deliver scalable, functional solutions. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements and mock-ups into ServiceNow features. - Document configurations, customizations, and integrations comprehensively. In terms of qualifications, you should possess the following: - ServiceNow ITOM Expertise - CMDB Knowledge - Integrations experience - Technical Skills in JavaScript - Cloud Infrastructure knowledge - CSDM Framework understanding Preferred qualifications include experience with ServiceNow Agent Client Collector (ACC), integrating ServiceNow Event Management with third-party monitoring solutions, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
