Job Description: Presales Specialist – Enterprise Networking Location: Mumbai, India Company: Saffron Networks Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and highly skilled Presales Specialist for Enterprise Networking to join our growing team at Saffron Networks. This role requires an individual with a strong technical background and expertise in networking solutions, including switching, routing, wireless technologies, and firewalls. The ideal candidate will have experience with industry-leading products such as Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and other networking technologies. As a Presales Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to the sales team, ensuring that Saffron Networks’ solutions meet the customer’s needs and exceed their expectations. Key Responsibilities: · Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and design tailored enterprise networking solutions. Provide expert advice on network architecture, configuration, and design across various verticals. · Technical Consultation: Provide technical consultation on Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and other networking solutions, including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and network security. · Solution Design and Architecture: Design network solutions that meet client requirements, including scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness. Prepare detailed solution architecture documents, network diagrams, and configurations. · Product Presentations, POCs & Demos: Conduct product presentations, POCs and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the technical capabilities and business value of proposed solutions. · Proposal Development: Assist in developing RFP/RFQ responses, creating BOQ and Cisco CCW estimates, including technical documentation, solution recommendations, and pricing models. Ensure that all technical specifications are aligned with the client’s business goals and objectives. · Collaboration with Vendors: Collaborate with vendors (Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, etc.) for up-to-date technical training, certifications, and product roadmaps to stay ahead of market trends and ensure the highest level of expertise in solutions offered. · Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Provide ongoing technical support to ensure the successful deployment of networking solutions. · Technical Workshops & Training: Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for both internal teams and customers, helping them understand the full capabilities of networking solutions. Qualifications & Skills: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, Fortinet NSE, Aruba ACMP, etc.) are preferred. · Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in presales or technical sales within the enterprise networking domain, with hands-on experience in switching, routing, wireless, and firewall technologies. Technical Expertise: o Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing Protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.), Network Security, and Wireless Networks. o Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba, and other networking products. o Deep understanding of network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems, and threat management. · Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. · Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to develop solutions that meet customer requirements and solve complex network challenges.
