Pre-Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities1. Classroom Teaching & LearningPlan and deliver age-appropriate, play-based lessons that support early literacy, numeracy, motor skills, and social development. Create engaging activities such as storytelling, rhymes, art, crafts, role play, and sensory play. Use child-friendly teaching methods to build curiosity, creativity, and confidence. 2. Child Development & CareObserve each child’s learning pace, behavior, skills, and emotional well-being. Provide guidance and support to children with varied learning needs. Ensure the classroom is safe, hygienic, and conducive to learning. 3. Classroom ManagementMaintain a positive, warm, and disciplined classroom environment. Foster independence in children through routines (snack time, pack-up, hygiene habits). Encourage sharing, cooperation, and good manners. 4. Communication & Parent InteractionMaintain regular communication with parents about child progress, behavior, and development. Conduct PTMs, orientation programs, and workshops when required. Provide feedback, progress reports, and updates on school activities. 5. Planning & DocumentationPrepare weekly lesson plans, activity calendars, and learning materials. Assess and document children’s developmental milestones and progress. Support the organization of school events, celebrations, and co-curricular activities. 6. Teamwork & ProfessionalismCollaborate with co-teachers and staff to ensure smooth classroom functioning. Participate in training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions. Uphold school policies, safety standards, and child-protection guidelines. QualificationsDiploma in Early Childhood Education / NTT / ECCE / Montessori Training (mandatory). Graduation is preferred but not mandatory (unless required by the school). Strong communication skills and a pleasant, child-friendly personality. Passion for early childhood education and working with young children. Preferred SkillsCreativity and ability to design engaging activities. Patience, empathy, and strong classroom-management skills. Ability to handle young children with care and sensitivity. Good command of spoken English.
