PR Executive

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic PR Executive (Senior Consultant) with strong expertise in media communication, public relations, and cyber awareness initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead PR campaigns, manage media relations, and communicate cybersecurity-related information in simple and impactful ways to the public.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategic PR plans aligned with organizational goals and outreach objectives.

2. Draft high-quality press releases, media pitches, briefing notes, and other PR materials.

3. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with media houses, journalists, influencers, and digital partners.

4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and communication across platforms.

5. Support and organize press conferences, webinars, workshops, and public events, especially related to cybersecurity awareness.

6. Conduct PR activities to promote cybercrime awareness initiatives and public outreach programs.

7. Manage social media campaigns, content calendars, and online engagement for public awareness.

8. Simplify complex cybersecurity issues into relatable messages for the general public.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field with (First Division / 60% aggregate ).

2. Experience in Public Relations, Media Communication, or Campaign Management in government organizations, consulting firms, NGOs, or cybersecurity environments.

3. Cyber awareness certifications.

Required Skills:

1. Good understanding of cybersecurity trends (phishing, online fraud, social media risks, data protection).

2. Strong storytelling, content writing, and media briefing abilities.

3. Proven media relations across print, electronic, and digital platforms.

4. Experience managing social media campaigns and digital outreach tools.

5. Ability to translate technical cyber topics into simple messages for public awareness.

6. Experience drafting press releases, handling media interactions, and managing PR activities for cybersecurity or public awareness initiatives.

7. Prior experience executing PR strategies for government-led cybercrime awareness programs (preferred).
