Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Architect with strong expertise in Database Administration (DBA), SQL development, and data visualisation. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level Power BI solutions, ensuring scalable, secure, and optimized reporting architecture. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into data models, dashboards, and analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have 8+ years of experience in

  Database Administration (DBA), SQL development, and BI platforms.

• Must have 3+ years of experience with

  Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power BI Service) and enterprise-grade BI solutions.

• Strong experience with

  SQ

  Server (SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS)

  or other relational databases.
• Expertise in data modelling, star schema, and dimensional modelling techniques.
• Proficient in performance tuning for

  SQL queries and Power BI reports.

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), especially Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory (preferred).

• Solid understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data governance principles.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Power BI solutions, including data models, reports, and dashboards.
• Manage database administration tasks including performance tuning, backup, recovery, and security management.
• Design and implement ETL processes, data pipelines, and integrations with various data sources.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs.
• Define and enforce best practices for data visualization, data governance, and security (row-level and object-level security).
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business intelligence solutions that drive decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize Power BI report performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to ensure seamless data availability and reliability.
