Power BI Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Design and develop Paginated reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions. Work closely with data engineers and business analysts to integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis.
• Implement data modeling best practices to ensure optimal performance and scalability of Power BI solutions.
• Create and optimize DAX queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and APIs.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric for advanced data management, data pipelines, and analytical workloads to support business objectives.
• Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, This includes data ingestion, data transformation, and data loading processes.
• Ensure that reports are optimized for performance, addressing complex queries, and large datasets.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Good understanding of Implement security protocols and data governance best practices in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Maintain documentation of Power BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and user guides.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard design.
• Proficiency in DAX, MS SQL queries, and a good understanding of database structure is required.
• Knowledge on SQL and Python is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, using cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures.
• Good verbal and written communication is a must.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in client interaction is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
