About the Role:

Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations
in Power BI.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
Create and optimize
data models
ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability.
Write advanced
DAX queries
and measures for business calculations and KPIs.
Perform data integration and transformation using
Power Query (M language)
.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across BI solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business analysts, and IT teams).
Implement and maintain
row-level security (RLS)
and other access controls in Power BI.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and trends.

Required Skills & Experience:

3 5 years

of professional experience in

Power BI development

Strong proficiency in

Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Power Query

Excellent knowledge of

DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)

Hands-on experience with (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).

data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)

and working with large data sets. Good understanding of

data visualization best practices

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Good to Have (Preferred):

Azure Data services (ADF, Synapse, SQL Database)

or other cloud platforms.

SSRS, SSIS, or SSAS

Agile/Scrum methodologies

Basic knowledge of for advanced analytics (optional).

Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
