Power BI Developer/Analyst

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Power BI Desktop
and
Power BI Service
.
Expertise in
DAX
,
Power Query (M Language)
, and advanced data modeling.
Proficiency in SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL) for data extraction and manipulation.
Experience working with relational databases and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Strong understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals.
Ability to troubleshoot performance issues with model size, refresh, or visuals.
Experience implementing data security and governance within Power BI.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
Microsoft certifications, such as
PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate),
are a plus.

Nice to Have

Experience with
Azure Data Factory
,
Azure Synapse
,
Databricks
, or equivalent tools.
Knowledge of Power Automate, Power Apps, or the broader Power Platform.
Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
Familiarity with DevOps for BI deployment and version control (e.g., Git).
Experience with Paginated Reports (SSRS / Power BI Report Builder).
